Marquette Investment funds Bank to offer its North Road property to Nation Fair


           

Marquette Savings Bank plans to sell its North Street drive-thru-only location to Country Fair Inc. for additional parking and storage.

 Marquette Investment funds Bank of Erie has declared plans to sell one of its two Meadville banking properties to an adjoining, non-banking business.

The bank plans to sell its drive-through just branch property at 349 North St. to Nation Fair Inc., the Erie-based general store chain. The branch will shut down at 6 p.m. Walk 29.

Country Fair Inc., with 72 general stores situated in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York, has two Meadville-region areas.

Nation Fair's areas are at 18163 Conneaut Lake Street in Vernon Municipality, and 333 North St., the convergence of North and North Central avenues, in Meadville. Its North Road area adjoins the Marquette's drive-through just office on North Road.

"Country Fair has been investigating the potential for extra stopping and stockpiling at its area on North and Central avenues," Steve Danch, executive of Marquette's leading body of legal administrators, said in a proclamation.                                                                                                            

Country Fair Inc. authorities didn't return Meadville Tribune messages and phone messages on Thursday and Friday mentioning remark about its arrangements or a timetable for any changes.

On Jan. 18, the Meadville Drafting Hearing Board endorsed a solicitation for a unique special case for 349 North St. to act as extra stopping and extra room for Nation Fair's North Road area. Endorsement of the unique exemption was expected for the potential land deal to push ahead.


Marquette will keep up with its Meadville full-administration stroll in and drive-through area at 1075 Park Ave., Danch said. The two bank offices are around 3/4 of a mile separated.

"With a full-administration Marquette branch found close by on Park Road, this deal offers Marquette a valuable chance to help and help the Meadville people group while keeping serious areas of strength for a to serve our clients here," Danch said.

No financial positions will be lost as the North Road representatives might move to other Marquette areas in the Meadville region, Danch said.

Notwithstanding Park Road, the bank has one more full-administration office in the Meadville region at 16272 Conneaut Lake Street in Vernon Municipality.
